From:

RE: Job
Hi

We currently received your details and understand you are currently looking for a role. I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you about doing administration based work from home. Working from home can be pretty tough, working long hours and doing quite mundane tasks, however we can provide you with an excellent platform with maximum earning potential. The work would be full time or part time, and due to this current market for the product the work is readily available. If you were to work part time in the role we would expect a minimum of 10 hours commitment, otherwise it won’t be worth while. In regards to revenue of the product, you make up to about £35,000 per annum if you are committing yourself to a minimum of 40 hours a week, working out at approximately £17 per hour.

If your are interested in this role, please respond to this email, and we can get the ball moving. This going well you could start post receiving training materials within the next day or two.

Regards

HR

...Is this real? anyone else in the unemployment line received an email like this and questioned its legitimacy?

  1. I got this email this week, I emailed for more info and it sounds like a pyramid scheme to me, how did you get on with it? I think it's best to ignore. I found this site after searching for the email address in google.

  2. I also got the email and seems like a scam, I requested more info on specific items and none of which were covered in the following response. I have also noted that the email requests money before initiation, the deposit is NON REFUNDABLE as it keeps stating, it also tries to confuse you by applying BOLD to the words it needs you to remember and take note of in order to lure you in. I have now sent a second email asking for the info again as well as more info such as a contact name, phone number and reputable company to request information from. I am not hopefull of a valid reply and i suggest you DO NOT pay ANY money up front to ANYONE offering the same. I shall post the emails below for everyone else to read.

  3. Sorry for anonymous, probs with registering profile.

    1st email and reply:

    Dear Sir/Madam
You recently posted your details online and I understand you are currently looking for a new role. Your details are of interest to us and we would like to see if you would be interested in doing and administrative role based at home.
I admit that it is quite a boring role, and mainly data entry/word processing, however the pay is above average for this style of work.
You can do this role either full time or part time, however if you were to do it part time you would need at least 10 hours per week. Pay will be circa £35,000 depending on the hours you put in, so if you were to commit 40 hours, you would be looking around that mark giving you £17 per hour.
If you are keen to learn more I would be grateful if you could respond to this email me, and we can get you started after you’ve completed a brief online training.
    Regards
    HR.

Could you please let me know where you have taken my information from.
I would be interested in hearing more about the job you have described as i am currently employed as a data entry operative.
I would also like to add that in future you should address the person to whom you speak by name, this will stop any confusion and instant deletion.

    Regards

(as you can see i offered NO information about myself including my name)

  4. 2nd Email, (please note there were 3 lines and 1 space between sentences, every sentence and i had to split it in half due to 4096 chars max)

    Hi,
You seem like an excellent candidate for this position, and I hope that I hear from you again so I can get you STARTED right away! A Data Entry Processor/Home Typist position requires that you have a reliable computer with constant Internet access and capabilities, a valid E-mail account, basic Internet knowledge, and minimal typing skills.
You must also be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner. This includes having excellent grammar and spelling when communicating with clients via E-mail.
In addition to the above requirements, you MUST be able to follow instructions closely and completely! You will do all contact via E-mail, so you will not be required to call anyone at anytime. This allows you to work whichever hours are most convenient for you (days, night, or weekends). You will be processing applications, as well as filling out forms in specific company databases (this tends to be tedious at times, so please be sure that you have the patience to do so before proceeding).
This is why you will need to have basic Internet knowledge, though the training provided will give you step-by-step instructions on how to perform these tasks properly.
There are no “down-times” with this position, so you will have a constant flow of work to complete. THIS IS NOT A GET RICH QUICK SCHEME, so if that is what you are looking for please do not pursue this opportunity.
You will be paid £10.00 for each application completed.
The amount of money you make each week is entirely up to you, and how much time and effort you are willing to put in with this position.
    The average person makes £250.00 ($470.06, €368.04) - £500.00 ($940.120, €736.084)each week
When you have been accepted as a Data Entry Clerk/Home Typist, you are considered an Independent Contractor. This means that your taxes will not be taken out; therefore, you will not be provided with any tax forms. THIS IS ENTIRELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. The training provided will go more information about what to do with your taxes.
You will receive your pay through PayPal or whichever online payment portal you choose. When an application is completed, £9.99 ($22.80, €16.72) will be credited to your PayPal account, which can be withdrawn into your bank account at your leisure.
You can read about the security policies at www.paypal.com.
    There is a one-time non-refundable fee for the training package, £9.99 ($22.80, €16.72)
This includes all processing fees and training costs. We offer professional online support for as long as you may need us. This is a one-time fee, and there will be no other charges to you.

  5. (second half)

We must accept this fee to cover training costs, processing fees, as well as to ensure that only serious applicants apply. This is a non-refundable fee, so be sure that you understand what you are doing before sending in your payment for the training materials.
This fee will not be waived for anyone, and cannot be deducted from your first pay. This is because if you do not process applications, you will not have a first pay, and we will have already taken the time to set you up, and train you.
You will need a word processing program in order to perform this position successfully (MS Word, Works, Notepad, etc.)
Most applicants typically complete the training within 24 hours or less. However, you can do this at your leisure. Keep in mind that the sooner you go through the training materials, the sooner you will START earning money.
I will be able to be contacted via E-mail at anytime after you have received your training materials to help you, or answer any questions you may have.
If you are serious about this position, meet all the requirements, and are responsible enough to work from home, then please contact me via E-mail and I will inform you of the cost of the training packet, and how to set up a PayPal account to send the fee (if you do not already have an account). If you are still serious, and are willing to put forth some time and effort, then please send a blank email to this address with the word ‘PAYMENT’ in the subject box. I will then send you instructions on how to pay your one time fee after which you will be emailed your training materials and can start work immediately.

  6. My reply, as yet unanswered:

    Hi, HUMAN RESOURCES!

Firstly i would like to point out that you have NOT supplied ANY information that i have requested in my reply to your initial email.
Secondly, you have NOT passed on ANY information on what your company name is.
Third, you have NOT referred to me by name.
Fourth, you have NOT given me ANY inclination to trust anything stated in an email.
Fifth, you have NOT given me ANY contact details other than email.
Sixth, you have not supplied a company name to which i can contact or research.
Seventh, you have changed the payment amount in the same email.
You have also asked me for money BEFORE i have received ANY of the information that would be required by someone with common sense BEFORE handing over ANY information regarding payment of ANY kind.

What reason do i have to trust that this opportunity is legal, legitimate and offers me the kind of earning that you describe?

Please send All information requested in BOTH emails.

    Regards

(again not offering ANY information about myself and being slightly sarcastic)
