People could learn alot from Seals

It's a line that I've found myself repeating and more so on a regular basis

people could learn a lot from seals

I say this because I go out a lot in London as part of work, pr, events, networking, but more than anything, just to have a good time, I love to dance!
My ears are blessed with music from different genres, my feet dance to the beat of different drums, I clap, I cheer, I even shout out a "WHOOOOPP" and even attempt to whistle....note that I said 'attempt' a whistle, and even when I fail who cares I'll just brush it off and scream 'WHOOOOP' again!

But then I look around for a brief moment and realise im the only one....the crowd is still, too cool to move, too cute to clap..like statues at the Tussuad Waxwork museum minus the smile... their blank stares and motionless bodies freak me out...This post was inspired by my night out to iLuvLIVe yesterday at Cargo. Went to go support my boy, but I still cheered for anyone who did their thing...and why not! I was disgusted when I saw a girl, mocking people around her cheering and having a good time...I just thought, did someone not just pour out their talents to you on a stage, did your brain not make that connection. Are you now infact just standing there stuntin and tryna crack jokes with your friend mocking the performer cos you have NOTHING BETTER TO SAY!!?!?!!

It seems that some people in the UK don't know how to show appreciation, instead they stand in the crowd and sniger and dish out opinions not facts and try belittle those they don't understand and performances that are beyond their creative pin head imaginations. Why do people shy away from anything not hype/cool or the in thing...I swear if you didn't come out to have a good time you came out to pose.

Personally -I think- It's worse in todays youth (not all of you) and the pattern will continue as the crowds get younger....God I hope not! This generation of cool, hipster kids is fantastic but it's not original, cool or hip. What does it take to impress you guys; a dirty second hand/vinatge supreme t shirt, Jordans and a snap back from Ebay (probably fake too). Folk copy the 80s and 90s flare for fashion but you don't share their enthusiasm and appreciation for music and whats put before you. I think some of you follow hype so much that you've lost your own identity to recognise what you actually like and what you don't...Llow it!

If you go out, try really listening to whats going on around you, have a good time otherwise you're gunna spend your adult years looking back at pictures of the night you wore a cool outfit and posed...thats it! Go out, enjoy yourself, stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and what they will say or think if you just got on the dancefloor and was the only one dancing. these people dont pay your bills, feed you, clothe you or house you....they are just people and probably are dying to break out too.

It's no surprise to me when I hear stories of Rick Ross ending his highly anticipated concert within 30 mins because people didn't out to have a good time, no they came to play wanksta's! And yesterdays reports of Wiz Kalifa being ambushed in the club on his first night in London: WTF!? you fake gangsta's need to stop this shit, you're ruining it for the rest of us. Eventually, when artists don't come, dont want to perform here, don't ask why...

A lot of people are surprised that I'm 28...I think this boils down to the fact that I party like a 22 years old rockstar, my enjoyment for life and happiness to embrace new things has kept me young and wrinkle less and peopel think cos im getting down and having a good time I must be young!...No!....and it's funny cos the young ones look older than me, stop frowning ya'll..

in conclusion

A seal = enthusiastic, claps , cheers,

people - dead robots....could learn a lot from seals!
