When things go bump in the night

...It's more than likely me stumbling in half drunk, half stoned, feet sore from the dancing but it was worth it - i know it's late so I'll give you the run down. I've got another blog post to write after this so i got to be time efficient....i digress

Halloween was epic!
pART.1
its all started on Thursday for the Disney store Europe work party. the absence of a camera in my life is proving difficult so I'll just describe it for you.
50 Disney staff member dressed as characters from the cute cartoons who have turned to the dark side. think rhianna in the so hard video but less sexy. the next day at work was a struggle but it was nice to do it as a department together and share in our hung over state. but a berrocca later, a pit stop at westfield for some essentials Halloween purchases and some sexy new shoes

this was me

sporting my new MAC Disney Venomous Villains makeup. I went for Maleficent and sported my look on her using eye shadow in She Who Dares and blusher Brair Rose

I then went onto meet my beautiful Princess Jo Jo and the musical Prince Snips and went to check out Informed London' Halloween Carnival at Ice Father Nation in Commercial Road.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENISE

....we dance, oh we danced and me. split into 2 rooms a bar and a flooded unisex toilet/ indoor smoking area / social pit the party was full of characters.

pARt.3
on Saturday night and after a nother pit stop at my local highs treet for some essential Halloween goodies i became a voodoo wman with light up skull wreath and MAC Warrior Collection lipstick in Purple Right

1ST STOP - was Monster Ball a private party of a close friend and it was good family fun with some of my favourite people

2ND STOP - was Livin Proof at Camp in Old Street a which has fast become one of my most popular haunts this year - again a wicked night to end a great weekend of parties, being social, dancing, drinking, laughing, randomness and fancy dress...and surprisingly making new connections...

GAME OVER

....That is all *speechless*

a very naked reflection

I do some dumb things sometimes that make me question why I don’t listen and why I’m so slow to learn from my own lessons till I’ve let history repeat itself at least 3 times. I’m only human and I’m starting to see that in my behaviour - I’m ticking the 25-30 box and I theres things about myself that I need to fix up on. I suppose I’m putting this out there to show my sudden realisation that my life journey so far is a beautiful path tarred with speak/ act before thinking situations, created by myself...I’m not being hard on myself, trust me!
I’m currently remorseful of my selfish actions but I’m also positive that I will start to get things right in light of the bigger picture, to being a better person to the ones who really matter all the time, a better elephant if you must.

I crash around and get play in the mud, make a scene, make a mess, then get clean up and after a bit do it all over again – I can only do that so many times before people stop paying attention.

It's a small world after all...

London is too f**cking small and kinda semi-incestuous - when you think about it, everyone knows everyone somehow (is friends with/slept with/used to date/used to link/friend of a friend/enemies/fuckbuddies/sisters friends brother/school chums).
In my opinion 6 degrees of separation is a stretch now'a days, 2 max 3 degrees of separation is the current connection speed in the London network and right'about now it's pissing me off - I need to escape this one horse town.

What's worse is when you see it on Frickin Fassbook and connect the dots...I feel dirty...I found something(someone if you must) but the connections/ex's/friends/events are just playing on my better judgment are threatening to turn me into some dickhead and it's not like me at all!

AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I refuse to let these little bumps in the road get the better of me but I just had to put that out there...share...

It has to be bed time, because if I stay up, I'm gunna stay online and possible trash my PC...this has been helpful!

hahahahahahhaa I'm such a diva sometimes

The Alchemist

written by Paulo Coelho

hands down this is one of my favourite books in my collection and when I'm feeling lost or a transition in my life i pick it up and it strangely helps me to realise it's all written and my destiny is there to be discovered I just have to ask the right questions and listen to my heart, head, heart head....they can never decide!

"The Alchemist details the journey of a young Spanish shepherd named Santiago. Santiago, believing a recurring dream to be prophetic, decides to travel to Egypt to find treasure. On the way, he encounters love, danger, opportunity and disaster"

Available at all GOOD book stores, I recommend this even if you just want a good read...

Bang Bang Bang

je te plumerai la, tete

...translates to I shall pluck you

taken from the French Canadian Nursery rhyme Alouette (Skylark), is about plucking feathers off a skylark .

Marc Ronson on production works his magic and combines a host of popular music genres with Q-tip spitting which is soo very fitting and vocals courtesy of electronica MNDR.

The video was directed like an 80s video game set by Jordan Galland and Gary Breslin

I LOVE this and cannot stop listening to it and dancing around my house...

Songs and Sunshine!!!!!!!!
