During this time I met my friend Nadia who was in a similar predicament...I would sit with Naddy on odd days and drink tea, squallering in our joint state of unemployment and swap war stories of no money for fashion and just being Indian princess's with senile loving fathers who were losing a grip ha!
anyway....Today I stand stronger, wiser, doing an internship for an event company. Nadia also got a job and blog too and we are both hard at it everyday...Now I got a tiny bit of money in my account, banished all men cos I LOVE ME, spending nothing I don’t have, smiling on a daily basis and working hard in the gym...I digress...my point is that good friends are important; new, old and borrowed!
...me and Naddy are still friends, who made it through together…our current situations aren’t perfect but it’s SOOOO much better than what it was - the Job Center que - it's just not cute - and we will accomplish My world domination one day…
Ive been quietly following you off the twatter erm I mean twitter for a while and would normally not bother leaving comments but I have to say u are one very impressive lil chicka.
ReplyDeleteI've been there done that re life's lil setbacks and faced similar challenges. Really reminds me how everyone starts off with hope in their hearts, then shit happens that make u reconsider everything u believe in and feelin left the road wondering wtf happened there.
Im kinda running outta time right now but just wanted to offer some positive rays yourway
