They say luck comes in three’s. I’m not sure who they are but damn them for saying it!

I’ve been through a roller coaster of shit in the last year.

Reaching some mad highs and hitting some real lows in love, life, work, family, life and death. I lost three of the most important people, who I owe my existence to pretty much. I lost my first love, I didn’t get that promotion, I gave my all to something that wasn’t meant to be, I gambled my responsibilities, I lost friends, gained lovers, lost my morals at times and found my conscious again! I cried rivers of pain but on most days I smiled as bright as the sun cos life goes on and I can never be down for too long. I knew a change would come and now here I stand, the world as my oyster. A bit wiser, definitely stronger and prepared for any heartbreak and 808s that come my way!

Ok, as promised, here's what happened on my holiday in Bournemouth

Monday: we went to V a club, which is an old converted church.

Like I said I felt a bit weird going to rave in a place of worship but everyone else was doing it! This guy (pic below) thought he was Lady KAKA-Fool! Dude was rubbing his face into his little friends crotch when Christina Aguilar's 'Dirty' came on was a bit much and this cutie had on more Mac than me - but he worked it!!!

Tuesday: Went out to Bliss with Katie’s cousin Toni and her friends

Also to join us were Saad, Dallas, Mitch and David- all the guys except Saad are from New Zealand. David caught Mistry's eye I was totally crushing on him- he's hot and friendly and we were all having a good time when he decided to leave early cos he has work early the next day. As you can imagine I was not happy...booo! He went to leave and I stood there thinking I’ve got nothing to lose I can either stay here and wonder what could be or go after him... 15 without a word to anyone I disppeared into the crowd. I found David on his way out and told him I had never met such an attractive man and it was such a shame he was leaving without letting me get to know him a piece...I got his number...but long story short and 15 texts later he has a girlfriend. Oh Wwwwhhhhyyyyyaaa????? :-( but there’s mutual attraction and he wants to get to know me :-) ...but its bad love karma to mess with people who have partners no matter what! - I'm a commiter of this crime and this is my punishment!

Anyway... Dallas is Bournemouth's local-everyone’s-favourite-bouncer, so drinks were free and after 6 JD and cokes I was so mash up after I couldnt hold my alcohol.... literally, I was just spilling it - NO I DIDNT WET MYSELF!!

We were all pretty twisted, we started doing that drunken girly thing where the bathroom becomes a photo-studio...you would have thought the club was designed like a bathroom for the amount of time we spent in there taking drunken pics!





By the end of the night I was doing the Blackberry Skank ...total *side eye from the guy in background, he was watching my booty....but of course!

On Wednesday Katie and I were joined by her good friend Kristy and Jade. We got ready at Kristy's crib.

We drank Cosmo’s getting ready, went to Elements and then I ruined my palette on some type of apple flavoured alco-pop...we all downed them quick and partied hard off the cheap buzz!

Little Kirsti from uni dayz joined us with her new man and we all partied...was like a lickle reunion and much fun was had... another late night...

Anyway I ended my week with a visit to the beach. Katie and I took her gorgeous niece Jessica to the beach and the sun was shining...the only thing that was missing my new lust David and a flake '99...this is what summer's all about

Thursday and Friday in comparison were girly, DVD wathcing, doing my nails, eating junk food and sipping tea - it was much needed.

I dont often get to see Katie for more than a day or two every couple months so it was just nice to be together, she is one of my BFFL...but of course!

Oh I do like to be beside the Seaside Pt.1

I'm in Bournemouth this week!

My friend Katie came down to visit on Sunday, she's on holiday from work-so I suggested we go Heartless on the Hill for some ol'skool sounds and female skanking! Saw my mini holes buddy Fonz who didn't disappoint on the tunes - whoop whoop - at the least to say me and Katie had a blast. So come Monday morning - who am i kidding, we didn't wake up till after 12.....Katie suggested since I'm not working and she's on holiday why don't I go home with her to Bournemouth and have a mini break to clear my head and for some general R&R and stranger in a new town adventures......but of course!

We finally got to B'town at 22:30 (hundred hours) thanks to Katie's speed racer skills and made a last minute plan to hit the club. We went to V a church b converted into a restaurant, converted into a bar converted into a club, hence V owned by Bournemouth's Bad Bizznezz Crew...I LOVE THIS VENUE...grand architecture high ceilings, balconies, big open space, stain glass windows...but i have to say I did feel weird dancing on what was holy ground!

Anyway like I was saying, I love this venue...I want to host a massive event there like a wedding reception or phat party! anyway we got down to the funky, dance, electro, house and techno sounds and I sweated out my hair - Katie did warn me - but I'm a dance floor whore and couldn't give a fuck if I was dripping sweat from my face by the time we threw win the towel...

2 steps forward 10 steps back....

This is the dance I been doing for a about a year now.

This past 2 weeks I've had an interview, a trial shift and a phone interview. I have filled out 10 different application's, emailed all 7 of my recruitment agents and begged for work, have gone to all of my online recruitment sites and applied for well over 100 jobs - and i even chased up some of the leads.....nothing!
I hustle, I work hard, I volunteer, I sell myself (short sometimes), I put in the time and effort, and I get nought! I been unemployed for a year - I'm determined to make something of myself through events, radio and my production line of cool t-shirts....watch this space coz they are coming!

I just got off the phone with the Sunglasses Hut in Covent Gardens. The manager there interviewed me 2 weeks ago and at the end of a successful interview she said I would really like to offer you the position but I need to check shift availability as I would be between stores.....anyway I ain't nothing. So I called to ask why I hadn't heard anything and she explained that she had interview me for the other store, she wanted to hire me but it was up to the other store, she has given the other store my details and they didn't call me.....you can see why I'm annoyed.......I think she heard the impatience in my voice!

I'M SO FUCKING FED UP!!!!!!!!

.....The only thing holding me together is knowing I'm gong aback to uni in October to do a post graduate diploma in Events Management......I need some systematic routine back in my life.
