Duck Sauce

To make Duck Sauce
simple and easy....
Mix 1 fab DJ and turn-tablist A-Trak with, 1 record producing and remixer extraordinaire Armand Van Helden. Throw in a studio, some herbs and spice; disco, pop, funk, house and of course chinese food and you get Duck Sauce.

Debuting this October with their stonker of a tune Anyway.... which has got me bum skanking ever time I play this Duck Sauce is a fucking awesome collaboration which I am soo excited about hearing more from!

MAAHOOOSIVE track that makes me smile and forget all my troubles- you know I loves me some of that funky, disco, pop, 70s dancing, house shiiiiit!

5 Golden Elephants

M.I.A???!?!

I am patiently waiting to hear back some a certain someone who I've been dating for a couple weeks, but at this point...dare I say it...I'm not sure if I will??

Ok, it's not as deep as this song...definetly not THAT deep...but I must say Keri Hilson has been on point in her writings on love, life and happiness - Go on, preach girl!

Don't know what else to say now...doh!

***UPDATE*** - 29.09.09

OVER IT!!!!!!

Vintage at it's best!

Raiding my wardrobe looking for a bag to match my outfit... something clutch with space enough for the essentials money, keys berry, lipgloss and gum!

My Ma on hearing my ca-ffuffle, goes into her closet and produces this beauty...

a real snakeskin Clutch from the 70s - some serious vintage I'm thinking...and then she tells me the story

"after your father and I got married around 1978, he was working in Saudi Arabia or was it Nigeria...(*she pauses and ponders for a while and then calls my dad)... he was in Nigeria working for Ericsson and I went out to visit him because I wanted to see the world, anyway, he bought me this bag and a gift" ...ahhhh!

Note to self: Raid ma's wardrobe for more vintage classics and one of a kinds before hitting the highstreet!

It's so real and scaly and its feels so lush it's illegal...

...Don't judge meh!

Notting Hill Carnival 2009

It's been a week and I know this is late, but I've had no time to blog.

Picture the scene, a lovely summers day, 3 friends equipted with Jack Daniels in Coke bottles, late but ready to hit the carnival...

this what I captured...

Carnival aint what is was in the good old days and the only way I can describe it is....ummmmm, errrrrr........controlled fun!? Pah!

Today...

...I met the worlds fastest man...besides Superman, Usain Bolt!!!

He came into my place of work, my assistant manager served him size 11's but I suggested a pair of high top Vaults Vans which he liked and purchased...nice guy : )

Too Fast!

It's gone 12 midnight...1am even!

Why am I awake?

I'm working the late shift tomorrow...have been working late's since Wednesday. I'm tierd...I'm wired on only 4 hours sleep from busy/late Thursday, Friday and Saturday. My eyes are blooshot, my nose is startin to drip, My metabolism is so fucked up it has lost all sense of time thus I am munching on any savoury snack in a 10feet radius and reaching for a sugary treat, Sex in the City is on in the background...but of course!

*munch, munch YUM *drops some crumbs, I'm watching this...

N.B. I am not professing my festish for sexual relations with car crash victims

I have a lovely MK5 Golf (love you babeeeeh) and curiosity and a nudge from my new friend Fapesta has led me to this video and writing this post. If you're a driver it's maybe worth searching your own vehicle's crash test and seeing the results.

I have to admit I'm a little impressed It'll make you think twice about speeding...that and the other risk you take of getting a speeding ticket.

...DOH!!!!!!!

One in a Million

I never got to post this the other day as I was working but 8 years on and she is still missed. I still love her like I did the first time I heard ‘Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number’. Her music fills my collection, her sexy moves and angelic voice and humble nature is why we all love her! Her beauty, grace and elegance not only as woman but also as a performer will never be replaced.
