Stand up and be proud....

...to be BRITISH

UK music artist are killing it right now with the new material..

I'm hearing banger after banger not only on Myspace but also on national radio! And I'm so pleased to know that it comes from the endless talent of this country - that don't enough air time on the charts - it's also refreshing to hear artist experimenting with different sounds and making music that doesn't box them off, but instead opens the doors to more listeners and changing perspectives of what UK music is! I'm Loving it!!!!

There's so many lines that are just so true, I had to share the lyrics!

"People act shameless,Tryna live like entertainers, Want a fat crib with the acres,
So they spend money that they ain’t made yet, Got a benz on tik that they ain’t paid yet, Spend their pay cheque In the west end on the weekend, Got no money by the end of the weekend. But they don’t care cos their life is a movie, Starring Louis V, paid for by yours truly, Truthfully, its a joke, like a bad episode of Hollyoaks"...

At first I didn't know if I like Scorcher more than I actually like this song, but it's so catchy you cant help but like it and the song is skankable - and I love lipsin a good lipser ;)

I'm not hating, but does this song remind anyone else a bit like a Dizzie track...Wiley has got the formula and the formula for this song really reminds me of Bonkers, especially the intro and the drop...Nonetheless its a PHAT track - I LOVE IT - that is all!!!!

And lastly not forgetting the endless talents of BBK - Boy Better Know!
Forget the days of We're going Hard...
We're Going In is the new buzz phrase - lyrically takin the piss....Jme *drool...out on Dec 14th JME spent a day and half plugging this on his Twitter - go on lad! - it's Genna be big

In fact all of these tunes, with the backing of you me and the rest of the country and worldwide will be big. So do the right thing and support your country and our boys on the front line of music - Von Mistry out!

I Love College!

I'm officially a student again! whoop whoop!

I started my post graduate diploma 2 weeks ago (thus lack of posting) and it's been non stop.
If I'm not in lectures, I'm working evening and weekends. If I'm not working I'm on some sort of public transport trying to get to either of those 2 venues ...and if I'm not riding the train I'm in them gym getting fit and healthy and all the while I'm still cleaning, doing laundry, making pack lunches and maintaining my looks : p - SUPER GRINDING!

I'm in a classroom of 54 women - not one man- ME-OW! Their ages ranging from 20s to 40s and we're an eclectic mix of British, Polish, Brazilian, French, Russian, Turkish, Cypriot, Italian, South African, Indian and Chinese...WOW - they are lovely and even though they will be my competition one day in events, for now they are my friends and I'm having a great time being in college - I highly recommend it to anyone contemplating going back to school - especially in these dark recession times - instead of standing in the line of the Job Centre realise your pure potential and master your skills!

So after all this super-grinding, the only thing I haven't been able to squeeze in is men - well maybe a little bit of man....but I'm focused on my focus man, so men don't really get the best of me right now...oh well!

Who's the Father of the Baby!?!?!!?!

That was the question on England lips this week as it was revealed Darren was the father to Heather Trotts bun in the oven.

I love Eastenders and it's crazy outlandish story lines, I have missed loads of it - scratch that - I have missed loads of TV in general since becoming part of the working world! gosh I'm soo important - like totally!!!! gagagahahahalolhahahaha!

Did I miss the episode that they banged? Did Darren mistake Hev for his long term girlfriend Libby?? How did he even mount that....did she mount him?William Smith put it excellently when he said this of Eastenders
"It was so real and gritty. American soaps are all about the beautiful people and being cheesy. This soap had everything"
after being drawn into an episode of our favourite soap while in London for a visit recently.
I don't Blame ya William...Only in Eastenders, no beautiful people here, No sir!...see below example no.2 (Parental Guidance Recommended)

Example no.2

I thought it might of been immaculate conception coz I know big people need love but Heather is a monstrosity of a large woman crossed between hunchbackfrankinstiwenhunnymonster...did I go to far? :-\

Only in Britain!

Happy New Year

Okay I'm shit at keeping up with blogging. I'm better at twittering cos its mobile but no excuses! i will post as much as i can today to make up for it! sooo much has been gwarning I'm lost on where to start.

To all my Indian Massive; family, brother's, sisters, converts and Hare Krishna's Sal Mubarak - Happy new year!

T'was Diwali the Hindu festival of light and also celebration our our new year! I spent the day with my family; we went to the temple to say our prayers and thank the Gods for keeping all together this year and for more years to come, we walked Eailing Road, visited the relatives for copious amounts of Bombay mix, savoury goodies and Bacardi and coke (fucking Indians eh!) and the evening ended with a lush dinner at the infamous Blue Elephant in Chelsea, and a walk along Charring Cross/Leicester Square/St James park with 31 flavors of ice cream..yum!

Eailing Road is the Indian market - if you're an Indian and live anywhere near North West London you've probably been here on a saturday with your mother to look for the following garam marsala, fruit & veg, sareers, suits, accessories or to eat at Sakonis! hahahahapapapapahahahahahha. Sorry I love my people but Eailing Road has become like a little India - void of hygiene, manners, P&Qs, deodorant, customer service and best before dates. Also you need a passport to come through here.

The shops on Eailing Road compete for sales on fireworks....

Deal!!!

The winner would have been BUY ONE GET TWO FREE AND WE'LL THROW IN A COW...but only in my imagination I guess!

I also spotted this hideous men's "fit for a bud-bud Raj" shirt and it confirmed all the above about Eailing Road and its leap back in time as the rest of the world moves forward

Honestly I don't hate Eailing road or Indians its just not what it used to be!

@ Blue Elephant...I wanted to take everything home - had to stop myself from stealing the deco.

So tempting

ELEPHANTS GALORE!

...okay so my night didn't end there. You know Von Mistry loves to push it and that's exactly what I did. I returned to Ghost for another night of pretty models who had been vomited on by Lipsy and Topshop and gully fellas in Zara. It was ok - I bumped into Bubsy Jones in his finest Zara on a random...Ghost was a sweat box and I was happy to leave and then Bubsy invited me to an after party to which we proceeded.

It was to the most gullyblackjerkchickenainbarrelanythinggoesschoobs I have ever been to in Collingdale called It Ain't No Secret and boy did we have fun...energiser bunny reserve, drunk, horny, dancing and sound systems. Also Omar was there performing - I couldn't see him cos I'm 5ft nuttin but I heard his soulful voice and I swayed with the crowd with my eyes closed and smile on my face. Dare I say it I had a better time there than at Ghost.

Finally after some drunken antics we got in at 9am, I crashed ouit I woke up at 11am next to a sexy man and a hot girl...What a fucking Weekend!

Summers over

The last couple months have sailed by; working at Vans, sleeping, working at Vans, eating, working at Vans, socialising, ended my long relationship Mary and started up my old flame with Jack Daniels...

I ain't had time to write posts every week but this ain't no hype - this is my brain dump spot I suppose and today as the rain hits my window paign i feel like singing

...rain rain go away - fuck off and never come back you cunt!!!!

...but this is England so bring on the autumn winter - cosy nights in front of X-Factor, carbohydrates, new winter wardrobe, wolly hats and university. I officially start my post-graduate in 21 days and counting - yea babeeeeh!

So here's quick snap view of what's good with my world!

At the end of September indians celebrated the festival of Navrati- during which we spend 9 nights and 10 days celebrating/worshipping the 9 days Goddess or nine forms of Shakti/Devi who fought against evil. its fun, you get to dress up in your best and go out, dance - its kinda like line dancing but instead we circle the shrine in the middle of the youth centre/school hall. Me and Jaiyna from my Mistry community went to one in Uxbridge

I wanted these...

but I got these badboys instead...

I'm loving this shorts and gullet combo and will steal this look.....jjjjjj-jacked!

I cant get enough of MGMT

Their soo big and their album Oracular Spectacular has been on constant repeat.

I am an electric woman...but of course - and my electric feel has drawn in new sparks into my life - loving the change of social groups including my new mate Bubzy Jones who has become my new pal to laugh with and swap literature...

I'm currently reading

While also tryna get my head around ideas of metaphysics and more.

I been frequenting the cinema and saw the Gamer with the sexy Gerrad Butler (he was in the film of course - we didnt pop down to the local Vue cinema to watch it together, although that would of been a great story to tell) interesting idea and touches on the ideas of shape shifting and White gold but otherwise poop!

I also saw The Invention of Lying and loved it, laughed all the way through - defo perfect date movie or just something to see on a weeknight with your mum

Rounding off the going's on, my friend Soodi had a Barbie & Ken themed party for her 26th@ Carbon- HAPPY BRITHDAY you old cow!!! : p

and my bestest girl Michellio came down for the weekend - we started the evening looking like this

I was Naughty Tennis Instructor Barbie ;)

and ended with myself and Michelle asking the cabbie to pull over on the way home so we could vomit....hehehehehehehe - I'm Turing into a proper alchi!

This weekend past I visited new bait face club Ghost with Naddy

Ghost was full of pretty white girls who looked like sexy models and metro sexual men who cudnt really move - or make a move - and lots of gully fellas in Zara - I'm not hating - in fact we had fun skanking the night away....
